The reconstruction in 1860 turned the originally one-storey building into the grand building of the National Hotel, later renamed to Savoy.

At present, the ground floor of the building serves as a shopping arcade and the tenants also have available 7 above-ground floors that come with VIP parking. The view of a charming historical building of the Slovak National Theatre is so typical for this building with a dominant corner location.
